AGM Highlights - 06/07/2010

The club AGM took place last Friday and the highlights were as follows
1 Howard Perkins elected as Club President for next three years.
2. Morgan Davey awarded the title of Club Patron
3. Dianne Pritchard made a Life Member of the club in recognition of outstanding service to the club.
4. Business & Administration Committee (Adrian Tattersall, Keith Taylor, Dai Jenkins, Len Price & Robert Legg) re-elected with some internal reorganisation.
5. Eddie Harrison re-elected Fixture secretary.
6. There is now a vacancy for the position of Membership Secretary. (It COULD BE YOU - Anyone interested please contact one of the officers)
7. Robert Huckridge of accountants Mace & Co reported that last years accounts showed a small surplus of £400 but do not fully reflect how the cash flow of the club is suffering in the present recession. Whilst our trade is well up on the previous year Robert expressed the need for prudence on our expenditure and the need for more income avenues to be explored.
